Next Gen Console Comparison

I found this great graphic that details most of what we know about the new Xbox One and PS4.

Two important things to note are the software restrictions and price differences between the two. There is a lot of talk from longtime Microsoft fans about making the jump to Sony and these two points are a big reason. Sony recently appeared to have “won” the E3 show last week according to various reports, and they currently have a lot of momentum going for them. It looks like an uphill battle for Microsoft at the moment, but they have lots of time ahead of them.

In 2010, Microsoft released Kinect a sensor bar attachment for the Xbox 360 that allows users to control and interact with their console without the need for a controller. This technology has now been built upon and they continue to think outside the box when it comes to gaming and this is no exception.

Here’s a look at some of the newest technology being developed by Microsoft Research.

PSN Outage – One Gamers Response

As most, if not all, gamers are already aware Sony has recently shutdown their PlayStation Network due to what they claim was compromised security within their systems. This has led to millions of users around the world unable to play online or accomplish any other activity that requires users to connect to PSN. Single player games remain unaffected however.
